If you want to run a blog and would like to earn some money quickly then you should look into buying a Wordpress Adsense Theme or templates.
Blogs are more popular every day, and the search engines (especially Google) love Wordpress blogs. You can go to wordpress.com and set up a wordpress blog for free on their site, but I suggest that you get your own domain name and web hosting to set up your own Wordpress blog. This way you have total control of your blog.
After you get your domain name, look for a quality web host that allows you cpanel access. Once you are logged in to to your cpanel, click on the fantastico button and you can install wordpress in a matter of minutes with just a few clicks of the mouse. Yes, it is that easy and even a caveman could do it.
Now that you have bought your domain and you have setup a wordpress blog on your hosting account, you will now need a professional looking adsense theme to allow you to start earning some money from your site.
A great way to start earning money is to use Google adsense. Adsense will place ads on your site that are relevant to the content that you have on the page and you get paid every time that someone clicks on one of your ads.
You might think I am mad but I am giving free advice and coaching to people who want to get higher volumes of visitors to their internet sites, here is why.
Although excited at the time I have pretty horrible memories of building and setting up my first web presence back in 2000. Everyone who takes on the task of designing a web site should get a helping hand. Implementing your first web site can be daunting if you are not sure of what you need to know.
Topics like understanding the influence of back links and keywords, how they alter Google page rankings and page authority, and the relationships between these and visitor volumes are complicated and continuously badly explained by the majority of “experts” on the web. I am always meeting people who want to establish a business or set up a site on the net so I am going to do something about it.
After over seventy months of toiling on the internet, discovering, getting to know and practicing methods to build successful web sites by pushing large volumes of customers. I felt compelled to educate people.
I have been contemplating this for about a year now and whenever I have had some spare time I have been building my teaching content. Everybody I have met who is starting out or already creating a presence on the web wants a quick win, I’m no different and therefore whenever I have found really good content and tools that work I am going to point my students at these rather than try and reinvent the wheel.
Everything I have tried and tested that has produced good or excellent results will be included in my educational material and where there are gaps I have filled them in. In my work I have created some techniques, tools and methods of my own that I constantly use which I will be including in the education.

If you’ve always dreamed of having your own home business, there’s never been a better time than now. More people are working from home today than ever and earning a substantial income. Some are telecommuting for other companies, but many are operating a home-based business right from their own computer!
These “at-home” entrepreneurs might be moms who wanted to stay home with their children or dads who wanted to spend more time with their family and save on gas and car maintenance. Even some college students work from their dorms between classes and earn enough income to pay tuition. There are also those who have a disability that hinders them from doing physical work. They have been able to earn money with an online home business.
The Common Factor
So what do all these home business owners have in common? They all understand the power of online marketing and the potential of a niche business. They all desire something more than clocking in at a 9-to-5 job. They want to be their own boss while increasing their personal income. The tie that binds these business owners together is the desire for success and freedom.
This success can be realized through many different types of home businesses. Let’s take a look at 10 of the most lucrative home business categories and the possibilities for each.
Use the home business list below to discover your own home business dream.
1. Administrative Services
Offering administrative services is the perfect home business for someone who loves office work, typing or data entry, processing forms and information, planning schedules, or assisting with any type of secretarial work. This type of work can be done as an independent contractor for several companies or one company.
You can even start your own professional administrative service and provide office-related services to many different companies. When you want to expand, you can then hire employees to help you. Your employees can also work from their home.
2. Business and Marketing Services
Business-to-business services have become some of the most lucrative home web businesses since the Internet’s beginnings. These can include online and off-line marketing services, business consulting, fund raising, bookkeeping, notary, computer consultant or technician, proofreading, life coaching, financial collections, mystery shopping, business sign creation, Intranet development and monitoring, language translations, and many others.
Another lucrative business is a personnel service or temporary staffing agency. You can locate dependable employees for other companies and handle payroll, insurance, and more for the employers. Or, you can start a job listing service and provide an avenue for employers and employees to meet.
The key is to concentrate on your greatest skills and how you can best help companies with your services while maximizing profits.
3. Creative and Niche Products
Another way to start a home business is to use your creativity and develop your own niche products to sell. These products can be almost anything that’s not readily available on every corner. Two things to consider are supply and demand. Is there a demand for the product? Can you supply the product and still earn enough money to come out on top financially?
Some niche products that have done really well online include crafts, gift baskets, decor items, specialty foods and candies, handmade quilts, greeting cards, children’s clothing, books, art, herbs and vitamins, etc.
With a niche product, you can also recruit others to sell your products for you through an online affiliate program. With an affiliate program, others will send customers to you. When a purchase is made, you will pay a commission to the person who sent the customer. It’s actually an automated referral system!
4. Financial Services
Financial services may be offered to businesses or individuals online. These might include tax preparation, financial consulting, credit repair, bookkeeping and accounting, stocks and FOREX trading, online banking services, annuities, insurance, currency exchange, loans and mortgages, and credit cards.
5. Medical Services
Though you can’t provide medical care for someone from your home, you can assist those who do. You can start a medical assistance business at home offering one or several services such as medical transcription, medical billing, medical claims processing, nutritional counseling, or medical coding. These can be done alone as an independent contractor or you can expand your service and hire others to help.
A back-end business to this is to provide training for those who might work with you or others in the same field. Medical billing and transcription educational courses are very popular online.
6. Photography Services
If you’re a photographer, you can start an online business offering photos for sale. These could be travel or still-life photos. Website owners, magazine editors, and brochure designers are always looking for great photos.
Some photographers even hire models to pose for lifestyle stock photos. You can also start your own stock photo agency online. This would allow other photographers to post photos to your site for sale, and you will earn a commission from each sale.
If you enjoy traveling, you can take a laptop computer with you and upload your digital photos for sale as you go! Many hotels now offer Internet access for rooms as an amenity, so you’ll be able to do what you love while running your own home business.
7. Web Services
If you’re Internet-savvy, you might consider offering Web services to help other individuals get their home business off the ground. These can include web design, graphic and logo design, programming, web hosting, domain name registration, Internet marketing and SEO, online business consulting, etc.
These services can often be tied in together as one business as well, so you’ll have much to offer your clients. For instance, as a web designer you can also offer web hosting and domain name registration, online promotional services, SEO for their website, and more. Many new business owners would rather work with one individual than several – and they already trust you.
8. Writing Services
Whether you are a professional or amateur writer, there are many opportunities online for writing. You can start a writing company with your own website, or you can freelance for other writing services. Companies are always looking for great content for their websites, so the online opportunity for writers is tremendous. Also, you can offer other types of writing such as business proposals, marketing presentations, brochures, guides, tutorials, and more.
You can provide proofreading and website editing as a back-end service. Some companies may want you to read over their entire website and correct any grammatical errors you find. Some may want you to rewrite their content to improve it. These services will often lead into more writing work for you.
9. Real Estate Services
The real estate business has drastically changed since homes can now be listed online and updated daily. Home buyers can view photos of every room, pricing, neighborhood information, and more on the Internet.
If you are a real estate agent or someone who offers related services, you can start a web-based real estate service from your home. Some real estate and related business ideas include interior design, notary, home inspections, appraisals, Web design or photography for real estate companies, mortgage lending, and more.
10. Training and Educational Services
Perhaps you’d like to train others in your area of expertise. The beauty of Web training services is it can all be done online from your home. There are several ways you can offer training: by phone, online through interactive courses, or in a downloadable e-book.
Here are just a few types of training that are being offered online from home business owners: programming and computer, pet training, health and fitness, architecture, business and finance, crafts and hobbies, art, literary, gardening, hunting, fishing, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Other popular categories to consider for work-at-home businesses include travel booking, MLM, music, sports, electronics, home and garden, interactive games, family and parenting, phone tech support and customer service, telemarketing, and media.
Making the Move
Each home business has its advantages and disadvantages, so be sure to weigh all the facts before choosing a business. Also, consider all legal aspects of the business. For example, you must be licensed and/or have certain qualifications for some fields. Other fields may require additional training even though you already have experience.
Also, find out what expenses you will incur for operating your business or for stocking inventory if you sell tangible products. Just as with any business, a home business will take effort, money, and time to get established.
Consider your own life goals and the skills and knowledge you already have to find the right home business for you. There’s nothing better than earning a lucrative income while doing what you love most. You and those around you will be much happier!

Jim Spence – Internet Marketer
You’ve seen the Adsense ads proclaiming “Affiliates: $537 per Day – Quit Your Job With ClickBank”.
Wait a minute – I hope you aren’t thinking you could go quit your day job so you can be an affiliate marketer. If so, here is why I recommend that you don’t:
* Affiliate Marketing can be tricky – You never know which way the market will go for the next 30 days, six months, year or especially five years. If you managed to make $5,600 in the past month doesn’t mean you will do that next month as well. Traffic to websites fluctuates, popularity wanes as does relevance of topics or products. I’ve seen sites making $250 a day suddenly drop to less than $20 for no apparent reason. You will put in a lot of work, your patience and persistence will be tried and your ingenuity tested to make sure your income continues to increase. Don’t even think about quitting your day job until you have over $10,000 in the bank with all your expenses paid. Don’t throw away a steady income for pie in the sky dreams.
* Everybody is in Affiliate Marketing. This is a business that you won’t even be able to tell your family or friends the names of your websites for fear of competition. Mention of your business could accidentally lead to loss of income, especially if you are spending money to make money, Pay Per Click for example, it could really eat into your profits. Your job can only be done in your area but Affiliate Marketing can be done by anyone anywhere in the world. You may be competing with people on the other side of the world or in the other hemisphere. Anywhere there is internet connectivity. If you can’t compete in this arena then don’t quit your day job.
* You’ve never seen anything as fast moving as Affiliate Marketing. Once you click GO, traffic may start rolling in and you may be making money or not. You don’t have time to wait around, take a nap or kick back and loaf. This business runs 24 hours a day – good or bad!
All of that being said, I should mention that Im not a complete hypocrite for working full time as an affiliate marketer. There are many reasons why you should take up affiliate marketing full time:
1. Affiliate Marketing is SO Lucrative. In no other business can you make over $500 the day you start. I’ve seen a little eight page website with a few images make over $10,000 in profit in less than four months. Finding a way to help people do what you want them to do can provide absurd profits.
2. Evolution is taking hold in the Affiliate Market. This business changes daily. If trying out new things to see what works and what doesn’t then this may be the niche for you. You can try different marketing methods and sales techniques on a day to day basis and when you succeed, you can become the leader of the pack.
3. Affiliate marketing is fun – I really enjoy what I do. I wake up, go to the gym, set up a few websites, and then check my affiliate stats. Knowing that Im being paid to work out at the gym really makes my day
In truth, an offline job provides steady reliable income. Continue to supplement your offline income while growing your Affiliate Marketing income. When the day comes that your are making more than $8,000 a month online, stick with the day job.
We are in business to make money, it’s as simple as that. We have a product that we know can make us money, or we have a service that we know people need. And we might have the best looking website on the internet, but if people cannot find the site then we have problems. Big problems. That’s why we need to advertise and promote the life out of our business if we want to succeed.
Advertising your business can be extremely costly if you do not know what your doing. You could pay a big Search Engine Optimization company thousands of dollars or spend thousands of dollars on Pay-Per-Click to get our websites noticed. Remember, you’re in business to make money, not spend it. Hold off on trying this method. Besides, you are ALWAYS on a budget, and simply cannot afford these methods anyway. In either case there are ways to promote your business that cost very little, and in some cases nothing at all.
Now that I have your interest, I want to tell you how to get traffic to your website without spending any money. Social networking websites have millions of users, making them a good source of free traffic. That’s where we’ll start.
Social networking began as a place for business people to interact with each other online. Today, they are used by millions of people world-wide, to make friends and build relationships. They are still used by business owners and you can use that traffic to your advantage.
While social networking websites with a focus on business are a great way to promote your business, this does not mean that you should completely forget about the ones that are designed to make online friendships. You may not learn any valuable business tips by joining Yahoo! 360 or MySpace, but you may be able to get new customers! New customers are exactly what your business should want and need.
If you are ready to join an online community, you will need to create your own profile or profile page. If you are planning on joining a traditional social networking website to gain access to millions of potential new customers, be careful when making your online web page or profile. Internet users hate being solicited by businesses if they did not request it. Instead of creating a MySpace page or a Yahoo! 360 page for your business, make one about yourself and be sure to INCLUDE plenty of details and information about your business.
By joining a social network, you should be able to generate some interest in your business including the products or services that you sell. That interest could turn into sales; making your social networking experience more than worth it.
