The Affiliate Marketers Blog was designed to help new affiliate marketers and network marketers get a head start by providing real information…not hype. We also offer a ton of freebies, plus great deals on software, hardware, traffic and content. About 4 times a year we put on an amazing sale, literally cleaning out the garage, the attic, the basement…and all of these computers laying around, and sell everything older than a few months for pennies on the dollar. And if it still doesn’t sell, we start giving it away!

Our mission is to try and level the playing field for those new to building an online business by helping out with the basics. We leave the big money, big success stuff to those more qualified to teach it…

As you browse the site, keep these “commandments” in mind; no matter what program or person you end up hitching your wagon to, these few “rules” never, ever change. The faster you learn about, acquire and master this short list, the sooner the following will happen…guaranteed.

• You’ll be in the 5% Club (about 95% of marketers give-up before getting the basics done)
• You will begin to be “noticed” (It’s hard not to notice those that are doing what everyone’s been told to do since Day One)
• Opportunities start knocking (Most successful marketers like helping new people- the new people that are taking action while the others are talking action)

So, what are the “Must-Haves and Must-Do’s”?

1. Your own Website and Blog (Yes, it’s possible to make money online without your own site. It’s also twice as hard and more than half of your work goes into someone else’s pockets.)
2. Your own “paid” hosting account. (There is simply not enough room here to tell you why you do not ever want a free hosting account. Remember-you get what you pay for.)
3. An opt-in mailing list. (You will hear about this so many times you’ll get sick of hearing it- so why not beat them all to the punch and start it TODAY. Your list is what will separate you from marketers who only work for others…and isn’t working for others something you DON’T want to do anymore?)

Those three suggestions/requirements/rules/commandments will have you so far ahead of almost anyone that considers themselves new that you won’t have a lot of competition in your niche. Build that foundation, let it dry, and on top of it you can build the business of your dreams.
