Unique articles represent an effective and inexpensive way to integrate keywords and key phrases onto a website, as well as attract backlinks naturally. Search engine optimization (SEO), a method for enhancing the on-page attributes that search engines will ultimately score your page on, will almost always credit “natural” actions higher than forced or man-made actions. The differences can be subtle, or painfully obvious.
One example is the number of backlinks pointing to your site. When a search engine spiders your site, it counts both inbound and outbound links. As an example, on this visit the spiders counted 15 inbound links and 40 outbound links. When they spider your site the next week, they count 115 inbound links and the same 40 outbound links. What’s wrong with this picture? Even worse, many of the new inbound links are from pharmacy sites, dating sites and “1st page listing on Google” for $99 sites! Since the number of outbound links stayed the same there probably wasn’t a trade. That leaves buying links. If there is one thing Google really dislikes… it’s the buying of links. With this information so easy to find, I am often bewildered at the number of people who still try it, despite the consequences, and when caught say, “But I didn’t know…”
Your goal, of course, is to get your page listed on the first page of the search results. It is important to not over use (spamming), or under use (not visible enough) the key words you want to show up under in the search engines. This is known as Keyword Density. There are differing opinions as to what is the optimal density for keywords or key phrases for the search engines to correctly categorize your website. Like so many other things in SEO, eventually you will come up with your own density formula through experimentation, trial and error.
Even more important than density is the number of in-bound, or backlinks, that your site or blog has. In addition to the quantity of backlinks, the quality of backlinks is even more important. While search engines are using this information to determine where to place your site or blog in the results, they will also use the number of backlinks to your website in determining how popular it is. Before accepting or placing a link from another site on your site, ask yourself:
If you answered No to number 1, more than 10 to number 2, and yes to 3 or 4 you will be much better off to keep looking. This is all a part of SEO as well, and a good search engine optimizer will be sure to include this exercise in any proposal. If you are doing your own SEO- do NOT skip this vital step!
One major obstacle in both SEO and article marketing is that you may not have time to write content yourself. Writing informative, relevant high-quality articles requires time, effort and concentration that a new Internet marketer may not be able to give. Don’t give up! There are many providers of article writing services as well as quality PLR articles that you can find on the Internet and most offer reasonable and affordable pricing. Articles that are informative and have unique content can be a first step towards the Holy Grail- your blog or website on the first page of the search engine results.
When purchasing content, keep in mind that the purpose is to have a place to put your targeted keywords and phrases. These are your “money words”, the keywords that surfers actually use, and therefore stand the greatest chance of being searched for on a search engine. Another reason for getting custom SEO articles is to generate natural backlinks. This is essential because, as mentioned before, your rank in the search engines is partially determined by the number of backlinks to your site. By submitting your rewritten articles to directories you make it easier for people to find them. Once found, and as long as they are relevant, the odds that a webmaster that has been searching for content will republish your article are very strong. And because you have included backlinks on each article, your number of backlinks will continue to grow along with the articles popularity.
To summarize, Article Marketing can be an outstanding compliment to your SEO efforts- if done properly. When re-purposing content or PLR articles experiment with a spinner or re-writer to monitor your key words and key phrases. And most of all be patient and have fun. You can’t really call it work if it’s fun now, can you?

Hi there! I found your blog via Google while searching about SEO And your post looks very interesting and informative to me.
(Holy Toledo! 3 comments, all with the exact same text. I’m running off to finish my Great American Novel- this must be a sign!)
The worst part? I would have loved to have a guest post about this topic… but I don’t know which name is real and which are fakes…
So we’ve got Julia (linkwheels10), Ada (linkwheels0004) and Desiree (linkwheels0004). Julia and Ada, however, are posting from the same IP Range. Now, if linkwheels is that good that 3 “real” people are all posting on the same blog about it- well, I want to hear about it.
But if Julia, Ada and Desiree are all one and the same newbie trying “I have no clue what” because you could have received 10-100x the free publicity just being upfront.
So…who is whom, doing what where and why???
Enquiring minds just gotta know!

Article Marketing is considered one of the best ways of marketing today. All you need is to write small articles of 350 to 400 words and submit them to article websites. If you have a blog or a website, you can write brief articles on your specific niche and link to your own domain. This is a wonderful strategy to promote your business and make sales. Although article marketing is essentially free to do, it’s unquestionably a good idea to invest some money in quality tools. Article spinning and submitter software are the greatest ones you can get that will help you massively leverage your article marketing campaigns.

Do you make money out of this blog? just curious
It’s much more of a “hobby” blog, I make a little bit on it…it definitely pays its own way. It was my first real venture into IM after creating and managing a
network of mental health and addiction blogs, directories, portals and a community for almost 7 years. And luck was with me as far as timing-the bubble was beginning to bust, but there was still plenty of mad money floating around looking for a home. We started with one page and at the time of the sale, we had over 500,000 pages of content, 22 full-time moderators, a Forum Admin, Blog Admin and 35,000 registered users on the boards…Oh, and 10,000 unique visitors every weekday. Its the reason its o.k. if this blog only makes a little… :=)
Thanks for the interesting post
