When Article Marketing first started, you had to manually upload your
article to each of the article directories, by hand and in person.
Then came semi-automated article submission software;
it made it a little easier and a little faster to do what you used to do manually.
Next came article submission services that would submit your
content to the article directories for you. Chances are good that you will
recognize some of these services by name. You may have even used them.
What you probably don’t know is that a lot of submissions actually fail…

FREE WEBSITE PROMOTIONSo if you’ve already started marketing your site, you need to do it consistently. To catch your audience’s attention, you will need to be persistent in all of your promotions.
Although it will seem like trial and error, try each method until you’ve found the free promotions that are most effective for you. There are many, many ways to get your web site noticed. Here are a few web site promotions to try until you find the ones that are the most effective.
Search engines and directories can send your web site free, targeted traffic. Before you begin submitting your website to search engines or directories, be sure to check your own rankings so you can measure their performance.
Exchange links with relevant, non-competing web sites. Make sure that your title and choice of words in your description are engaging to your potential visitors.
Find free classified ad websites. If your site sells products already, pick the two best sellers and create classified ads for them. These ads may be seen by people who you are not targeting, but may be interested in those particular products.
The Internet has a huge assortment of free and low-cost banner exchanges. You can catch your audience’s attention with banners on relevant websites that already receive the type of traffic you want.
Continuously monitor and track your visitors. Where are they coming from? How long, and on what pages are they staying? What keywords did they use to find you? All of these are very common statistics generally available on most hosting plans, especially C Panel hosting accounts.
If your hosting account doesn’t include stats, you can get a better host, or you can always use one of the free stat services such as StatCounter, GoStats, and Google Analytics.
