There might be some who like the clean car you have on your site, but how does that really increase sales? You must brand your very own picture onto people’s minds.
What makes you unique from every other distributor on Facebook? Don’t fool yourself.
2. Where Do You Reside?
Users don’t know you can regionalize yourself in Facebook. Most people glance over this because they are a worldwide distributor. You’re handicapping yourself in the foot if you don’t let yourself be sought after. Why would you want to block users from finding you? Isn’t part of business building about having ways for people to find you easily? You want to be searchable by newbies who want your product or service.
3. Complete Out Your Bio
Way too many users only put a small amount of information on it. Makes it seem like you are hiding. People want to network with people they know. It’s hard to do so if you got a image of a dog and you have no clue to what they do in their spare time. Even worse, you don’t even know what they do professionally. I totally recommend you put where you worked full time or working now.

2. Needed Product?
Are there lots of potential buyers? A lot of home businesses go after small markets that may not be large enough to make you any real money. Are there enough potential buyers for you to make a profit?
What we want is a large, hungry, market that will buy from us now; and buy additional products later as well.
3. High Profit Margin?
Is there enough profit to cover your selling costs? Expenses will eat away at your profit margin – be sure to consider them. Advertising and other ongoing expenses will reduce your profits.
4. How Much Competition?
What do other companies charge for similar products. Are you price-competitive?
Similarly, it is very difficult to make a sale if you can’t even get your potential customer’s attention.
5. Adequate Commissions?
Will your commission be so small that you’ll need an army in your downline before you can make a profit? Does that make sense?
Is the proposed commission reasonable? Will you get a fair share of the commission?
6. Labor Intensive?
I’m looking for a business that will be able to run on autopilot after start-up. I want to remove myself from the success equation.
The best home businesses I’ve seen have systems and processes that will work for you 7×24x365 – whether you’re spending the day at the beach with your kids, laid up in the hospital, or sailing around the world.
7. Qualified Visitors?
Qualified prospects are the lifeblood of any business. For “brick-and-mortar” stores, the key has always been “Location-Location-Location,” but for online businesses, the key is targeted traffic.
Will your up line help send you quality traffic?
8. Ongoing Training?
Learn everything you can about your product and marketing your business. You could muddle along on your own, but such an approach is more likely to fail than succeed.
So, another key is to make sure that your sponsor provides adequate training.
9. Available Technical Support?
Any business these days requires computers somewhere along the way. For online businesses, that computer will likely be yours.
For internet marketing businesses, a lot of the technical support will be needed up-front, getting your system set up before you can even start doing the business. Good technical support can really help your success.
10. Follow-On Customer / Sales Closing Support?
Regardless of the product you end up selling, there will likely be problems, returns, changes, upgrades, etc. involved. You’ll also need adequate back-office support.
Select businesses that also include customer and sales support. I hate to make cold calls, so sales support from my upline is important to me.
Winners act; losers don’t.
So, if you want to join the winners rather than losers, use this checklist, and then. take action to begin your chosen program.
Most people who are tying to make money online just go head first without to research the many rules and tips that are mandatory to know. You realize that to be in any profession, whether it be a teacher, laywer, doctor, cashier or even a janitor, you must be taught the proper steps and rules.
The same applies to the online marketing industry, even if there are some who try to make you think that that it is a piece of cake. It is so important to note that when you succeed, it will be such a fresh change from the every day hectic life that accompanies the 9-5 that so many of us have lived for so many years.

To be successful, you need a well designed, well functioning website, advertisement and marketing, etc. Most of those things are learned from the company you go with, however if you fail to maintain your passion to succeed, you just may fail. It therefore follows that, if you have no Passion for the company and the products and services provided by that company, again, you won’t attempt to do the work you are being taught.
Internet marketing work is typically not all that difficult or time consuming but it does take motivation caused by Passion to get you off and running with a sustained effort so that you won’t stumble. Internet Search Engines are excellent resources in searching for online opportunities in Internet Marketing and Business! The company you go with should have likability, relevance and you should have confidence in it. It should be solid, founded on great principles, and easy to understand with great products and services that are sell-able for which you can have Passion. If you don’t find what you are looking, move on to something else
You can find the right opportunity containing the attributes identified above. Comments like, well, that one sounds good and the compensation plan is excellent so I guess I’ll start that business – does not sound like a decision based on anything near Passion.
And remember when you hear that an Internet “guru” does that, don’t be tempted, because as I said earlier they are experienced and can sell just about anything, without being Passionate about the company products and services. Note: By the way it’s your goal to get to the point where you can sell about anything online. That end skill and goal is a worthy one indeed. You must remember that there are guidelines that need to be followed to be successful, and having the passion to succeed will help you avoid skipping steps in the process of learning.
You must be focused on a company that shows promise, has believeability, and stay away from those you are not passionate about.

Quixtar was founded in 1999 and is now run by the same company that owns Amway.
In North America you can only join Quixtar through the referral of an already established member known as an IBO, Independent Business Owner.
The way that Quixtar operates is that every IBO has access to selling Quixtar products through the Quixtar website.
As an IBO you are encouraged to purchase as many Quixtar products as you can and at the same time recruit more IBOs.
The way this works is that your referrer gets a percentage or a commission from the products you purchase from Quixtar. Likewise you will get a commission from the purchases of all your IBOs, the people you get to join.
According to Quixtar your commission percentage depends on your IBO level within the company. So, in theory, the more people you recruit the higher your level gets and the more commission you get.
There are several problems with this business model that your Quixtar rep doesnt tell you about.
Quixtar wants you to rely on one-on-one communication and word of mouth advertising. Quixtar even has severe limits on your freedom to advertise your website online, a resource that they will not let you use properly.
In this day of e-mail, drive through any things, and internet ready cell phones, who has the time to listen to you talk, for hours, about vitamins, or whatever youre trying to sell?
You would think they would want you to use every means of advertising you can come up with in order to increase your sales. But for some reason they continue to tie your hands when it comes to trying to sell the products. Its almost as if they dont want you to sell the products.
You also need to realize that your entire income depends on how much stuff the people in your down-line are going to purchase.
Since Quixtar products are priced right around retail your income from Quixter is not going to support you and your family unless you can convince your down-line people into buying all their goods from Quixtar.
Now you have a situation where you’re not allowed to properly advertise on the internet and a need for people to purchase Quixtar products daily.
Quixtar also likes to reassert its credibility by pointing out all the name brand companies that it’s partnered with.
The thing is that large corporations don’t care who is selling for them as long as they are moving product. Lets face it they are the ones making the money not you.
Another thing about Quixtar is the fact that you will be competing against every one of the other IBO that are trying to sell the same things you are for around the same price. Mainly because of the way they control and limit the way you can advertise the products you are trying to sell and the fact that commissions on the items you are selling are so small. I really don’t think you are going to be able to make any real amount of money with Quixtar no matter what their sales pitch tries to tell you.
If you do try the Quixtar all I can do is wish you luck and shake my head as I walk away.
